What is a conference channel?

It is a Channel (or Group) designed for cross-domain collaboration. Share and work with people from other companies, while maintaining the highly integrated document/private chat structure. External companies and contact can concurrently collaborate without worrying about losing files/messages once a host disconnects them.

The conference host can invite other workdomains to join the conference as conference participants. Upon accepting the invitation, the invitee will become the workdomain representative and can add their own domain users to the conference.

A conference channel (or group) contains:

  • Conference Chat: For communication with external workdomains
  • Private Chat: For communication within a workdomain
  • Document Chat: For communication within a workdomain.

Follow the steps below to get started:

Create a conference group -> Establish direct contact with user -> send invitation to user -> user accepts invitation -> add user to conference group -> joined conference group
